One of the forest-living species from our SE Asia trip and another with strikingly marked hind-wings. The rather curious vernacular name stems for the fact that it likes to sit low down against various bits of tree. They look a little bland to the naked eye but a flash picture shows that the abdomen is actually quite nicely coloured. The flash makes the wing patched sparkle, too.
I can’t find any mention of this existing in Cambodia but records are not good.
