Brilliant Redskimmer may be a rather curious common name given that there are no other “Redskimmers” in the catalogue but it seems completely appropriate.
“Brilliant” having been taken by the vernacular name, the only word to describe this marvel is stunning. I saw it only once at the Reserva Biologica Camino a San Juan and, as you can see, I could not take my eyes or lens off it. I was utterly captivated.
