Austrogomphus guerini (Yellow-striped Hunter)

This was one of my new species on our 2024 trip to Australia in late January/February. We first encountered it at the Reedy Creek free camping area below Woolshed Falls, then later up at the falls themselves and a little further afield at Yackandandah. Since it was new to me on this trip, I wondered if this was a later flying species. ([Theischinger/Hawking does not mention flight seasons.] I was happy to snag a couple of females, as well as the males.

This one is endemic to south-eastern Australia, including Tasmania.
