In Costa Rica 2026 we saw this chap twice in flight but never hung up, so flight shots were my only option.
It is apparently the only large Costa Rican darner with a mostly green thorax striped broadly with brown, according to Dennis Paulson. The abdomen is “mainly black with fine green streaks”.
