Northeast Queensland does very well for endemics and Synestes tropicus (Tropical Needle) is another one. Whenever you see these guys they always seem to be hanging vertically and are relatively easy to approach without flushing.
I was lucky enough to get both male and female, both of which are colourful, during FNQ 2022.
