Tramea eurybia (Dune Glider)

This was a new species for me on the Jan-Feb 2024 trip, this one in the Brisbane area. The Tramea species can be a nightmare to separate and clear shots of the male secondary genitalia are generally needed which, happily, I have here. The bright red wing veins of the male are also mentioned as a good pointer.

I saw just one, at Karawatha Forest, though I didn’t know what I’d snagged until later, thanks to iNaturalist.
