Aethriamanta gracilis (Pond Adjutant)

Seen in SingaporeMore of a powder blue than the very similar A. aethra and more widespread in Singapore, where we spotted ours. The hind-wing base is less strongly marked, too.

My book, A Photographic Guide to the Dragonflies of Singapore, has the vernacular name for this as Pond Adjudant but I think that’s a typo.
