Micrathyria mengeri (Fork-tipped Dasher)

The common Name stems form the flared shape, pointed and diverging, of the male’s cerci. Looking at images on iNaturalist it is clear that the amount of divergence varies considerably. My examples are relatively lightly forked.

My examples are from La Selva Biological Reserve. The first couple were confirmed by iNaturalist. The third is a bit of flier by myself, based upon the strong antehumeral stripe, though the anal appendages cannot be clearly seen.
