There are three Micrathyria species with a pruinose thorax in Costa Rica. M. aequalis (Spot-tailed Dasher) and M. schummani (Dusky Dasher) “usually” have a single pair of abdominal spots on S7. M. debilis (Peten Dasher) sports multiple markings.
My examples of Micrathyria aequalis seem to have just a hint of another spot anterior to S7 but it’s very slight so these specimens may not fit the “usually” description.
