Phil has a passion for gomphids so he was excited by this one in La Reserva Curi Cancha. Habitat is forested streams which certainly described where we found our only example.
My tiny little Olympus flash [came with the M1X] was not really up to the job given this very shaded situation; my colleagues’ proper flashes were much more appropriate but I just about managed to snag it.
