There are two Setwing species in Costa Rica and we saw both of them. In Europe I think we’d refer to these more as Dropwings since the “set” refers to sitting with their wings depressed and angled forward a little.
This species, D. sterilis (Brown Setwing) we saw just once at the lovely little Tilaperia Restaurant beneath Volcán Tenorio.
