Another of the collection of Argia species seen on our first day at the Hotel Villa Zurqui. The pond and stream in its grounds were quite productive and a good introduction.
This species shows some purple tint in the blue ground colour. The distinctive feature is the long pointed paraprocts of the males, which can be seen in the first image.
