Argia pulla (Purple Dancer)

I didn’t know I’d got this species, I had to look at Phil’s posts on iNaturalist for a clue.

The eyes of a mature male are dark blue to purple. I have a feeling some of my specimens are maturing ‘cos some of the thorax still shows blue.
