Bradinopyga geminata (Indian Rockdweller)

A characteristically subdued colour scheme that blends in well with the rocks that it likes to sit on. Known as the Indian Rockdweller in Sri Lanka, which is where I found my sole example, it is known as the Granite Ghost in India.

I was being distracted by a classful of Sri Lankan schoolboys when I was taking the picture below and did not realize what I was focusing on. It may be just one shot but I’m very glad to have got it. Thanks boys. 🙂
