In 2016 we joined a general wildlife trip to Slovenia and Croatia. With a mixed group of interests, it was never intended to be an intense odonata hunting trip but we did make some excellent finds, with a few “lifers”. We felt that Slovenia was the more pleasant country but it was Croatia that delivered the far better goods when it came to dragonflies, which is why I’ve switched the sequencing of the title. 😉
