Another of several uncommon finds for us from the MacRitchie Reservoir nearing the Sime Track in Singapore’s Central Catchment NR. The colour of the hind-wing patches on this beast are quite spectacular and go so ell with the blue of the water behind. This just has to be one of my favourites.

Your caption has the binomial/scientific name slightly wrong, though, it’s Rhyothemis triangularis (as opposed to R. ringularis).
